Offline/tower-down resilience layer — alerts spread like ripples
The Mesh Alert system launches with partial coverage across the United States, with the clear intent to reach all 50 states and every county. Coverage grows as more devices opt in — the system is actively watching for disasters in participating regions and broadening its reach over time.
How it works: When a disaster is detected in a covered area, the mesh hop technology activates and spreads alerts across opted-in devices in range. Your phone becomes part of a relay chain — passing encrypted alerts from phone to phone until the first phone that connects to the internet automatically uploads the bundle and the mesh network continues. One phone with signal can deliver alerts for an entire offline neighborhood.
Our goal: Full nationwide coverage — all 50 states, every county. Every new opt-in extends the mesh and brings us closer to that goal.
YANA-IGY Ripple Mesh operates in full compliance with all applicable regulations and licenses. Your participation is entirely voluntary and you may opt out at any time.
Emergency alert system — no unsolicited commercial messages. Ripple Mesh transmits only verified disaster alerts through encrypted peer-to-peer relay. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) operates within FCC Part 15 unlicensed spectrum regulations.
Explicit opt-in required before any alert delivery. Your consent is recorded with a timestamp and version number. You can revoke consent at any time by disabling Mesh Relay on this page. No automated telephone calls or SMS are sent without your prior express consent.
No personally identifiable information (PII) is ever shared. Your name, phone number, and precise location are never transmitted. Only encrypted alert payloads (message, timestamp, general location) pass between devices. Your anonymous device ID is used solely for mesh coordination.
